Admissions
Dear Parent,
I am pleased that you are considering LCC Nursery to meet the early childhood education needs for your child. Choosing a nursery that supports Jewish values and teachings is one of the most significant decisions your family will ever make. I am confident that you will be pleased with the quality and dedication of our staff, the curriculum, and our outstanding facilities.
LCC Nursery welcomes families from all walks of life to its nursery. Please read on below for more on the admissions process.
Admissions Process
1. Application Forms
Parents are to complete and submit a "Student Application Form" for each child. A non-refundable application fee of £50 must accompany this application.
Before your child enters the nursery, we will need a signed Certificate of Immunization Status and the Family/Medical Information sheet.
2. Nursery Visit
All families are invited to tour the nursery and talk informally with the admissions staff. Our centre manager will give you a tour of our facility and get to know your individual interests and expectations.
3. Assesment
Preschool applicants will participate in a play date with other preschool children. Screenings last approximately 20 minutes. Assesment is mandatory for all students entering nursery.
4. Review
This phase occurs after all parts of the application have been received and the student and family visits are completed. Families are kept up to date on the status of each application, especially if teacher recommendations or school records have not been received. For each applicant, the centre manager meets with the faculty members who observed the child. The completed application is then discussed with the Admissions Committee.
5. Notification
The last phase of the application process is notification and, if the child is accepted.
If you need assistance in completing the application, or for any other information, please call the office 0n 8809 9050
