What is the Lubavitch Children’s Centre?
We are the first UK Lubavitch Children’s Centre (LCC) in Stamford Hill.
The LCC is a purpose built, state of the art facility providing culturally sensitive child and adult services in a comfortable, welcoming and multi-lingual environment.
The Centre has developed the existing educational, cultural, spiritual and communal provision of the Lubavitch Centre into a one-stop shop of services. Providing for the welfare of babies, children and adults and making sure to meet their needs. LCC is home away from home at the very heart of the chareidi community. To encourage this feeling of warmth and community, LCC staff will be able to communicate in Yiddish, Hebrew, English, French, Dutch and Russian.
Lubavitch Children's Centre is part of the Lubavitch Girls' Primary School, which is part of Lubavitch House Schools, which were founded in1959 by the Lubavitch Foundation. The Foundation itself was set up on the direction of the Lubavitcher Rebbe Rabbi Menachem Mendel Schneerson O.B.M and under the aegis of a Hanholla (executive committee)
Lubavitch Foundation is an affiliate of the international Chabad Lubavitch movement that is dedicated to spreading the wonders and rewards of Judaism throughout the globe in a nonjudgmental and inclusive manner.
Lubavitch today, is the largest and most dynamic unified religious, educational and social force in the Jewish world. The movement boasts more than three thousand branches in nearly fifty countries on six continents.
More than a million Jewish children and adults are touched via our schools, institutions, shuls, summer camps and extra curricular programs around the world each year. Our centers everywhere serve the needs of all Jews, no matter their level of knowledge, observance or affiliation.
