Lubavitch Lending Library

We are very fortunate to house the Lubavitch Lending Library in a large space in the Centre.

The Lubavitch Lending Library is the largest Jewish lending and information library in the UK. It houses a vast collection of books on Jewish tradition, heritage and related subjects, as well as books for children.

Visit the new library in our brand new Centre and you will find an extensive and increased range of books (in Yiddish, English and Hebrew) in a modern, relaxing and stimulating environment.

There are separate reading areas for adults and children, and rooms for themed group sessions. Books are easy to find as they will sit on well-spaced and user-friendly new shelving.  Wherever you sit, and whatever you read, you will be exceptionally comfortable as our furniture - like the rest of the Centre – will be so welcoming you won’t want to leave.

The library is really a pleasure to use. From the moment you come in to the inviting reception area, to the moment you have your books processed efficiently on your way out, you will enjoy being in our happy and calm atmosphere.

The Library opening times are:

Sunday:                              11:00 am - 8:00 pm

Monday-Thursday:           10:30 am - 2:30 pm & 6:15 - 8:30 pm

Friday :                                12:15 pm - 4:30 pm (closed in winter.)
